How to play Easy Yukon Solitaire

Easy Yukon deals all 52 cards face-up from the start — nothing is hidden. You can see every card in every column before you make a single move, which makes it an ideal way to learn how Yukon's unusual "move any face-up group" rule works. Everything else follows standard Yukon: no stock, alternating-color builds, four foundations to fill.

The rules in short

  1. Seven columns, 52 cards total, all face-up. No stock, no hidden cards.
  2. Build columns down in alternating colors.
  3. Move any face-up card plus every card above it as one group, even if those cards are not in sequence.
  4. Only a King or a King-led group fills an empty column.
  5. Move each Ace to a foundation, then build up by suit to the King.

Tips

Questions

How is Easy Yukon different from standard Yukon?

Only the start: all tableau cards are face-up instead of partially face-down. The move rules are identical.

Is there still no stock pile?

Correct. Like all Yukon variants, every card is on the table. There is no stock to draw from.

Is Easy Yukon always winnable?

No. Seeing all the cards removes the uncertainty, but some arrangements are still impossible to solve no matter how you move.
