Deal of the Day

A new deal every day at midnight UTC. The same cards for everyone, and every deal can be won.

Shuffling today's deal…

How the Deal of the Day works

Every day there is one deal here, and everyone who plays that day gets exactly the same cards. Play it at your own pace: there is no timer, Undo and Hint are always there, and you can restart the deal as often as you like. The line under the heading shows the date, the deal number and the game. Deal #1 was played on October 20, 2026.

Which game is it today?

The game follows the day of the week, so you always know what is coming:

When does the deal change?

A new deal every day at midnight UTC. In New York that is 8 p.m. in summer and 7 p.m. in winter; in London it is 1 a.m. in summer and midnight in winter. The day follows your device's clock. If you are in the middle of a game when the day changes, you can finish it; a note then offers you the new deal.

Can every deal be won?

Yes. Before a deal goes into the schedule, a computer solver plays it all the way through with the same rules as the board, and only deals it can finish are used. If you get stuck, the cards are not against you: undo a few moves or restart and try another order.

How do streaks work?

A day counts as solved when you clear that day's deal before midnight UTC. Solve on days in a row to build a streak; miss a day and the next solve starts a new one. You also see how many days you played and solved, and your best streak. Only your first solve each day counts, so playing the deal again afterwards changes nothing. If you leave the page open and finish after midnight UTC, you see your result, but it no longer counts.

Your streak is kept only in this browser, on this device. There is no account and no cookie, and nothing is sent anywhere. Clearing your browser data starts the count again.

How do I share my result?

When you solve the deal, a result panel shows a short line in large type, for example "Deal of the Day #12 · Golf ✅ 31 moves 🔥 3", followed by the link to this page. Press Copy and paste it into a text message, an email or a Facebook post, or use Share on a phone. The line shows no cards and nothing about you, so it gives nothing away to friends who have not played yet.

What counts as a move?

Every card you play and every card you turn from the stock counts as one move. In Pyramid a pair is one move, and so is turning the waste over; in FreeCell a run moved together is one move; in Monte Carlo each pair and each Close up & deal is one move. Moves you undo are not counted.
