Build the tableau down in alternating colours, and the four foundations up by suit from Ace to King. Click a card to select it, then click where it should go; a card with one obvious move goes there on a single click. Click the stock to turn over three cards. How to play Vegas Solitaire (Draw 3)
This board uses a one-pass, draw-three format: the stock turns over three cards at a time and you get exactly one pass through it — no recycling. When the stock is exhausted and no more moves remain, the game ends. That single pass makes every decision count, and Draw-3 keeps most of the stock hidden while you play.
The rules in short
Standard Klondike layout: seven tableau columns and 24 cards in the stock.
Build the tableau down in alternating colors and the foundations up by suit from Ace to King.
Click the stock to flip three cards. Only the top waste card is playable.
The stock can be gone through exactly once. When it runs out, there is no recycle.
Only a King or a King-led run can fill an empty column.
Tips
Think carefully before each stock flip — there is no recycle, so buried waste cards can only be reached by playing the cards above them.
Empty columns are precious: use them to reorder runs and access buried cards before the stock runs out.
If the stock is running low and the foundations are thin, focus entirely on uncovering face-down cards.
Questions
Can I go through the stock again after it runs out?
No. This board uses a one-pass Vegas rule: the stock can be turned through exactly once. After that, only cards already in the waste or tableau remain in play — there is no recycle.
Why does this feel so much harder than regular Klondike?
Two reasons: the three-card flip keeps most waste cards buried under newer ones, and with no recycle you can only reach a buried waste card by playing the cards above it first.
Is Draw-3 Vegas harder than Draw-1 Vegas?
Yes. Draw-1 Vegas is already harder than standard Klondike; adding Draw-3 on top reduces access to stock cards further.
