How to play Easy Klondike Solitaire

Easy Klondike deals every tableau card face-up from the start — no hidden cards at all. You can see the full layout immediately and plan every move before you make it, which makes this the most beginner-friendly version of the game. The stock still turns one card at a time with unlimited recycling.

The rules in short

  1. Seven columns with all cards face-up from the deal. Nothing is hidden in the tableau.
  2. Build the tableau down in alternating colors and the foundations up by suit from Ace to King.
  3. Click the stock to turn over one card. The top waste card is always playable.
  4. Recycle the stock as many times as you need.
  5. Only a King or a King-led run fills an empty column.

Tips

Questions

How is Easy Klondike different from standard Klondike?

Only the start: every tableau card is face-up from the deal instead of face-down. The rules for moving cards are identical.

Is Easy Klondike always winnable?

No. Even with full information, some deals cannot be won because the arrangement blocks key moves.

Can I still recycle the stock?

Yes. The stock works exactly like standard Klondike: draw one, recycle as often as you like.
